Directions to Volcano Island Honey Company Honey House

Please call before you visit so that we can be here to greet you. Tours are by appointment only. Our office number is (808) 775-1000.

Please note, our hours of operation are Monday – Thursday, 9:00am – 4:00pm.

 

Directions:

• Take Highway 19 to Honokaa.

• Watch for sign “Tex Drive-In” on Ocean side of Highway 19 near Honokaa.
  At  “Tex Drive-In” sign turn off highway 19, away from the ocean (towards mountain) Mauna Loa Road.

• After turning off highway take immediate right onto “Old Mamalahoa Highway” (a small, two-lane winding country road) and go uphill for 3 miles. (STAY LEFT at the fork to Kapuna Road at about 1.5 miles from the turn off.)

• Watch for “Log Cabin Bed and Breakfast” on left.

• Take next right onto Puaono Road (a small, one lane road).

• Drive down to where pavement ends (approx. 1/2 mile) look for a hanging sign with our company name on the right.  Take a right at the sign to our entrance.

• Come in the driveway and park on the left along the hedge, across from the green container.

• Enjoy some wonderful honey!
